The Bureau of Archaeological Research has offices and facilities in the following three locations:

B. Calvin Jones Center for Archaeology at the Governor Martin House 1001 de Soto Park Drive Tallahassee, FL 32301 (Located off Lafayette Street between Seminole Drive and Myers Park Drive) The B. Calvin Jones Center, located at the site of the 1539-1540 Hernando de Soto Winter Encampment, houses the office of the State Archaeologist, Underwater Archaeology Program, Training and Outreach Program and Public Lands Archaeology Program. It is open to the public 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday and has an exhibit. |

Mission San Luis and Archaeological Collections 2100 West Tennessee Street Tallahassee, FL 32304 Mission San Luis is open to the public Tuesday-Sunday 10-4, closed Monday. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors 65+, $2 for ages 6-17, FREE for members, children under 6, and active military. For special tour arrangements or information on living history and educational programming, please call (850) 245-6406. Archaeological and historical research staff may be reached at (850) 245-6381 at Mission San Luis. To schedule research in the State of Florida's archaeological artifact collection please call (850) 245-6444. |
