2007 Field Staff

Andrea White, a historical archaeologist, has academic degrees from the College of William and Mary and the University of Florida. Currently she is Co-editor of The Florida Anthropologist and Secretary of the Florida Archaeology Council. She has worked on and directed numerous projects throughout the southeast including Colonial St. Augustine, The New Smyrna Colony, and the Fountain of Youth Site.




Mary Glowacki received her Ph.D. from Brandeis University. She has worked for the Division of Historic Resources since 1998 and been involved in various field projects throughout the state during her tenure. She currently supervises the bureau's Public Lands Archaeology Program. She has taught course at FSU and conducts person research in Peru.




Originally from Colorado, Michelle Markovics is an Anthropology PhD. student at FSU. Her research interests include southern European (specifically pre Roman Italy) bioarcaheolgy and stable isotope analysis. She has previously worked in SE Hungary (Körös Regional Archaeological Project) and Italy (Contrada Mella, Calabria).




Maureen Mahoney (AKA Moe) is a Masters student in Anthropology at FSU. Her areas of interest are Northern Europe specifically Denmark and Northern Germany during the Roman period. She is especially interested in settlement patterns, house types, and the use of computers in archaeology. She has previously done field work in Ohio, Indiana, Georgia, and Florida.
