The Training on Archaeological Resource Protection is a six hour class designed to familiarize State, Federal, and County Law Enforcement agencies with archaeological resources and the laws that protect them. Each class focuses on the archaeological resources and problems particular to the region where the class in held. View a sample schedule (PDF).

Learn about Historic Preservation laws with regard to protecting archaeological resources on state managed lands and the role of law enforcement in managing and protecting cultural resources
Discover the role of the Division of Historical Resources and the Bureau of Archaeological Research in the management of state owned archaeological resources

Learn how to respond to archaeological resource crimes
