Florida Historical Contexts was written by various authors under a project directed by Jerald T. Milanich in 1990. Illustrations were added later and some text sections have been updated by the staff of the Division of Historical Resources.Florida Historical Contexts is a multimedia presentation on the history of aboriginal Florida. From the Paleoindian Period until the Caloosahatchee Region, the Florida Division of Historical Resources hopes to give you a glimpse of what Early Florida was like.
