Arcadia ARCADIA HISTORIC DISTRICT 1886-1930. 374 buildings in 58 blocks. Predominant styles: Masonry and Frame Vernacular. Much use of rusticated concrete block. Several structures show Romanesque and Italianate features. Notable structures: De Soto County Courthouse, Koch Building, and Railroad Station. District contains a concentration of buildings which represent the historic development of the town for almost 50 years. N.R. 1984.
