Technical Note - Site File Forms
If using a full commercial version of Adobe Acrobat to complete Site File forms.
If you choose to use Adobe Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Professional, or Acrobat Suite to complete Site File forms, you will receive several warning/informational message boxes when the forms are opened. These messages will not appear if you are using the free Acrobat Reader version.
The first time you open a Site File fillable PDF form you will receive a message box similar to the one below. Click the 'Remember this choice' check box and then click the 'Yes' button when this box appears. The form will not actually connect to a database (it is nonexistent) and this message will only appear the first time you open a Site File PDF form on each computer.
Each time you open a Site File PDF form you will also see the message box below. Click 'OK' to dismiss the box. This message is simply informational and will not affect the functioning of the form. The message indicates that the nonexistent database mentioned above cannot be found.
